Apologizing for what I have done, in the past,
makes me guilty of what I have done.
When I ask myself this question:
“With the state of consciousness I had back then,
with the past I had and
with the pain I suffered,
could I have done it otherwise?”
Apologizing for what other people did, in the past,
makes those people guilty for what they did.
When I ask myself this question:
“With the state of consciousness they had back then,
with the past they had and
with the pain they suffered,
could they have done it otherwise?”
Apologizing can only take place
in the stillness of the heart
And in the heart it will transform
The tranformation becomes an insight
And the insight becomes a deed
And the deeds become a way of living
And the way of living becomes the living apology
Every day
From now on
Until eternity …
