The longing for Christmas

Christmas longing

At Christmas
we long for
the innocence
portrayed in a child

At Christmas
we long for
light
love
connection
peace

Kneeling
in the face of Christmas
connects us
with the silence
within us

In the silence
we float
into the deep
and we experience
what is always present:
Innocence
Light
Love
Connection
Peace

Human

You call me by my name
And tell me that I’m human
A human that is born
And that will die again

I tell you what the name is
Of this dear human-child
And in that name all is contained
What men expect from it

I can not say the name
Of that which has no name
I only can be still
When You will ask me  that …
